She's here!!!!!!!!!!! and she has hair =)

So after an 8 1/2 hour rest in the hospital Felicity decided to grace us with her presence=) she was turned funny... as in she wasn't up and she wasn't down but she was on her side=) the doctor figured if she had been turned correctly she would have been here on Monday=) I have to say her delivery was by far my easiest delivery, the doctor broke my water(which released Hoover Damn) at 4 cm. and i had an epidural which REALLY REALLY worked=)my legs were numb for hours...and I went from a 5 to a 10 in like 10 min. so anyway here she is=)

Still not here

well I figure i haven't posted a blog in quite some time so I'll post while i still have a little free time=) in the past two weeks we have been going and going trying to get the baby to come out naturally but....alas it didn't work=) so tomorrow 17 December I'll be induced=) which i have to admit I'm kinda scared because I'm so used to two kids and i know it'll be different with three kids=) Mary has been having a wonderful time with dance and tomorrow is her dance recital, so I'll miss it which makes me want to cry=( but i did get to see her dance at a mini recital on the 6th of December. She is such a big girl telling me that its OK she'll be a little sad but Nana being there will make it all better =) I feel very blessed to have mom up here to help me out because there is no one that i trust my kids with more then her=) that and her company has been very nice =) I love spending time with her. Well anyway in the last two weeks Mary had a mini dance recital, Joshua had his Christmas pageant, David is still looking for a job but he has done a little bit of work with his dad and i took family pictures for all of the families in Joshua's preschool class=) which was fun but exhausting=)and my friends up here threw my a surprise baby shower which was way nice and Chancens mom, Misty, made a delicious and very cute cake=)

Hey everybody! i just wanted you all to know that my favorite Christmas song is "The Christmas Shoes" and I feel that everyone at least needs to hear it once each Christmas season. Maybe its because I'm pregnant but Whenever i hear this song i get teary eyed.....anyway its the first song you'll hear when you click on my blog . Thanksgiving

So David the kids and I went up to Jon's house for Thanksgiving this year and we had lots of fun. David helped Jon a little bit working on his kitchen and the kids had lots of fun playing with Jon's kids and i had a good time visiting with Shannon and Jon. We went up Tuesday night and on Wednesday mom,Aly,dad,Jolene, Mary and i went to Good Things Utah again=) it once again was lots of fun =) afterwards we went to Gardner Village and the kids had a lot of fun running around despite my pleas to stop running =) Joshua showed mom and dad his duck call which was quite funny because he taught himself how to do it=) and then it was back up to Jon's house to help finish the kitchen and to try to help get things done for thanksgiving. On Thursday we got to visit with Al and Teresa, Vic and his children, Suzi and her family, and Aly, Spencer and Will. I know i keep saying this but it honestly was lots of fun. On Saturday we went shopping which was lots of fun and well worth it=) Cammi came with us to be the Gopher since Aly had Will with her and if i tried to run I'd probably have put myself into labor =) we were done around 9:30am but we kept going to different places =) lunch afterwards was fun and the baby jumped for everyone at the table to see =)

I can't tell you all everything that i am thankful for because there is so much and i could go on forever, but i would like to say i am so very thankful for my family and the love and support that they all continue to give David and I and I am thankful for the gospel, especially for the love and guidance that we receive on a daily basis.

chocolate show

so last weekend was a nice long weekend for me. I traveled up north and went to the twilight show with Suzi and her girls which was a lot of fun=) and then the next morning we went to Good Things Utah, and then we were off to the Chocolate Show. Mom, Aly,Will, Suzi, Jessie, Cammi, Jolene, Rachel, Shannon and I went walking around there for a while....actually i was soooo tired so i sat. It was fun to see Aly walking around with Will strapped to her chest he is sooooo big he was so big on her tiny body but he didn't like me holding him=( He did love it when Rachel was holding him though=) then on Saturday we went back to the chocolate show which was even more fun then the day before, Aubre, Alys good friend, was able to join us and she was a hoot to hang out with plus i was feeling a lot better because i actually slept the night before=) all in all it was lots of fun and i am way happy i was able to make it up there especially since it was a kid free weekend for me.

Lazy

OK so I've been waiting to write my blog hoping that something fun or exciting would happen and i would write about it...but alas nothing exciting has happened=( the kids are doing good. It seems like they have been more hyper since Halloween and the truth is they've hardly touched their Halloween candy so maybe its the cold weather??????? who knows? the baby is doing good =) her favorite time of day is bedtime...at least that's when she seems to move around the most=)
My birthday was nice the kids and David made me a delicious cake and they cleaned my house which is all that i wanted( how long did it stay clean.....don't ask) and my friends took me out to dinner which was super nice because then my kitchen stayed clean a little bit longer=)
David has still had no luck finding a job he had a really good interview up north but unfortunately they still haven't made a decision=( he's applied everywhere minus fast food restaurants....even Wal-Mart isn't hiring right now.
Last but not least our credit card#'s were stolen, how or when it happened we have no clue. we still have our cards so either they took a picture of them or they wrote the # down somewhere... but the lord has truly blessed us because the banks called right away to see if we had made purchases in Arizona and on-line and when we told them we hadn't they took them off right away. we have also had a lot of fun with our car these last 2 weeks=) we changed the front brakes because they were grinding and then a week later we noticed a huge puddle of something under our passenger back tire we figured we would check it out after picking up josh from school well we drove over to Davids cousins house because he has all the tools we need to work on our car and David about had a heart attack when his foot was pushed all the way down and we were still not stopping, lucky for us we weren't going very fast and there were no other cars around.....anyway we had to replace our back brakes and brake fluid because all our brake fluid was sitting in a puddle in our garage and we also we had to replace the drums???? anyway we have had a very fun and eventful month so far=)
We are looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with my family next week and I am really looking forward to spending the weekend with Mom, Suzi, and Aly=) i hope everyone else is doing good and i hope every one has a wonderful thanksgiving!!!!!

Happy Halloween!!!!!!

so on top of all the fun we had with joshua last night we also had halloween to get ready for=) before we went to do anything tonight i made sure joshua was nit free, which he was, but anyway we went to our friends halloween party where the kids had a lot of fun and then they went trick or treating and since we all got to bed late last night the kids were done and asking to go home around 6:30/7:00 so we went and visited grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Heather and Uncle Chris for a little bit and then headed home. I once again went through joshuas hair and found nothing when we got home so each of the kids had a shower and passed out once they climbed in bed =) ahhhhh peace and quiet

Loooong Day

So yesterday afternoon i noticed Joshua itching his head a lot so i went and took a look and we saw some little black/brown things in his hair and so i called and asked mom what lice looked like and she told me and i also looked it up on the net and to make a long story short He had head lice=( From start to finish it took about 3 hours to thoroughly look through his hair and he sat there and was so good the entire time i felt so bad though because those nit combs aren't exactly nice. we all went to bed at about 11:30 last night which is 3 and a half hours after the kids bedtime=( anyway today we chopped off a lot of joshuas hair and i combed through it about 4 or 5 times throughout the day with the nit comb just to make sure that there weren't anymore nits David and I also have washed all the bedding, pillows,clothes, toys....pretty much everything anyway needless to say i have been busy all day today and I am now exhausted.

Halloween Eve

So I just wanted to post a quick little blog on Mary=) she has a halloween party tonight so she got all dressed up in her Gypsy costume...of course she got dressed as soon as she got home from school=) so she had to wait 2 hours before the party started=) but anyway i'll post more tomorrow with more halloween pictures =)....don't you love the tights=)

Baby Update

Well as you can tell by the pictures the baby is doing good=) it was funny when we went in for the ultrasound today she was just chilling. Her feet were at the bottom of my tummy with her ankles crossed and her arms were behind her head at the top of my tummy=) but then she showed us she can smell her feet=) but everything is measuring normal and my stressing out hasn't really bothered her, which i was worried about because when i stress she doesn't move as much...but as we could tell that's when she "Chills" =) we also found out that her second toe is bigger then her big toe which i find funny, David said she doesn't get it from him but when we got home and took off our socks guess who had the big second toe???David=) I'll be putting up more pictures from the last week and a half hopefully tomorrow.

Still Going

Well I figure i haven't written a blog in a while so I'd better catch you guys all up. Still no job for David=( which sucks but after listening to conference we don't feel as stressed as we were=) we feel very blessed for all that we have. I was talking to mom earlier this week about how glad I was that we no longer had a car payment ( I think i said the same thing in May when David lost his job also) but as we started talking more about it I realized that we had also paid for Mary's dance classes for the entire year with part of our tax return earlier this year so there was once again another blessing we also round up when we pay our bills so our bills aren't as big as they could be. It's still hard but we have also been very blessed. Joshua got to go to the Pumpkin patch with his preschool class yesterday and David and I were able to go and help...note to anyone planning on doing that, don't wear Capri's because pumpkin patches are prickly... Joshua was excited because he got to ride the extra small bus to the patch, which by the way have seat belts in them=), We had an SEOP meeting with Mary's teacher last week ( i have no clue what SEOP stands for) Her teacher told us that she is extremely smart and she scores higher then she needs to on all her DIBLES (once again i have no clue what that stands for) I hate to sound to big headed but I'm sorta glad that even though she hates it, I push her with her homework=) The baby is doing great she has discovered my bladder and constantly kicks it=) Which isn't fun especially when you have a bladder infection but at least i know shes alive and kicking.

Stressed

Well another week and a new set of problems=( anyway We had the opportunity to go down to Marsheas birthday party on Friday and it was really nice to be able to visit with everyone down there in St. George. Joshua had a good birthday and he had an even better birthday party=) he loved having his cousins come up and visit and play at discovery park with him he was also very happy to have Nana and Papa come up and celebrate with him. Both he and Mary were sad to see them go but they were under the impression that we would be visiting them this weekend so David could finish the flooring in the house but unfortunately it will not be possible. The company David was working for lost some clients so they had to lay off some employees and unfortunately David was one of them. They laid off 4 people and they all had BA's and they kept on the employees who didn't have their BA's yet because they didn't have to pay them as much. Does that make sense to anybody else? because it totally confuses me. So if you could all keep us in your prayers and if you hear of any accounting positions available if you could tell us it would be very much appreciated. Anyway I hope you all have a good week.

I feel loved

so I know that I just put up a little blog yesterday but I just had to write about what happened this morning. I got up early this morning with Josh and after a couple of hours i started to feel drowsy and i decided to fall asleep on the couch. Well Josh came and tucked a blanket around me so i wouldn't get cold and put his hand on my face and kissed my forehead. When i woke up about a half hour later he had picked up Mary's dance shoes and clothes off of the living room floor and put them in her dance bag and put his toys away. When i went to go find him because he was being very very quiet, I found him in his bathroom cleaning it up=) he had picked up the dirty clothes that had been in there and put them in the laundry baskets and he had cleaned the bathroom counter and organized Mary's ponytails=) I know that I am pregnant and emotional but it made me cry a little because he did such a wonderful job without me having to ask him to do anything. I gave him a big hug and thanked him for doing that for me and he in return told me that he was trying to take care of me. I feel so loved

Update

Well i went in for another check up today and lucky me the doctor had just ran out to deliver a baby=) it was all good though Joshua and i got to hear the baby's heart beat which took forever because she wouldn't stop moving around=) it was quite funny because the nurse was saying " i can see you moving in there now please stop rolling around" and Joshua was laughing because it was the first time he had seen my tummy moving and then he said "she's being a stinker mommy" and right after he said that, she stopped and kicked the monitor thingy...personally i think she was saying I'm not the stinker you are=) but anyway i get to go back at 5 later on today to finish my check-up. So earlier this week i noticed that Joshua had a red dot on his chest and it looked kind of like a bug bite but it also looked liked eczema and i found a similar looking dot on the top of his knee I asked David if he thought it might be a spider bite and Joshua looked at me and said "silly mommy if it was a spider bite I'd be spiderman" =) Anyway I'll write more later take care

Family Pictures

Another Week

Well this last week has been very busy and very long. It started off with joshua getting sick on tuesday night....we think maybe something was picked up when we went up north .....and then i felt sick but i was fine, then David got sick on Wednsday...oh yay!=( and once again i started to feel sick, but once again i was fine, then at 1 in the morning on thursday Mary got sick and continued to be sick until about 2 in the morning...and once again can you guess how i felt? well this time I was sick..Anyway Mary woke up and was just fine majority of the day thursday but she was awfully pale when she got home from dance that evening...but she was fine and so was I we just needed to take a break. On Saturday we went down to the lake for an early celebration for Davids birthday and we had a lot of fun. Chris, Heather and their dogs and Chance, Cait and their kids were able to make it down as well as davids little sister wendy. Durell went down but he disappered, to... I'd say chill but really melt... in the heat of his truck. I didn't take the camera with me because i didn't want to get the lens's scratched and i was afraid with my luck some how it would get wet so we have no pictures...soory=( but we did have a lot of fun. Davids older sister Lori showed up with her kids for about an hour but sadly they had to leave. Anyway like i said we had lots of fun=) but anyway since i didn't take pictures this saturday i'll post some of the family pictures that i took last weekend.Have a good week you guys!

Big Weekend

hey everyone sorry about the delay on writing this week/last weekend. I wanted to wait until after the kids dentist appointment yesterday which turned out great still no cavities for either of them which i have to say surprised me because they have had a sweet tooth lately =( So back to this last weekend .... we had so much fun we went up north to salt lake on Saturday and went to raging waters with everyone. The kids had a blast they were so exhausted afterward it was well worth it =) we tried to get a picture of all the little ones that were there (minus Will )on all the tubes we acquired while we were there=) then on Sunday it was Will's blessing day. which was a very busy busy day=) we had family pictures taken during the luncheon which was fun and although a lot of my individual family shots looked quite nice my huge family picture didn't turn out well i got three shots and Chris (who was also taking pictures which looked awesome)was in two of them and in the third one everyone was looking in different directions=( but i also got some nice random shots of different people =)and when that was done David the kids and i headed home

Peace and Quiet

Well Joshua had his first day of preschool yesterday =) and although I enjoy the peace and quiet it seems kinda lonely without him. He loves school though and he was so excited and more than ready to go. He came home telling me about everyone there except he couldn't remember their names so he would tell me the color they were wearing instead for example he told me..."I didn't get to be the line leader today the person in the orange shirt did" Mary is loving school I think that her excitment for school has made it a little easier on me. I was worried that she was going to hate being there all day especially since sometimes they don't get all the recesses that they are supposed to but it doesn't seem to phase her. She has beening mainly working on math at school and reading at home. On another note Mary was asked yesterday at her dance class if we could move her up to the advanced dance class because she was at the top of her dance class=) Sorry i just wanted to brag about her a little bit=) She was so excited that as soon as we had service on our cellphone she had to call Nana =) Anyway thats about all that is going on with us for right now.

HERE'S...WILL!

So Aly and Spencer and spencers mom Jamie came down for a quick visit today, actualy Spencer came down to take a test, which test i can't remember. but I got to visit with Aly and hold Will, who by the way is adorable=) David took his lunch once i called him to tell him that Aly and Spencer were here because he wanted to see the baby also=) Joshua was also able to hold and visit with Will. Will also likes to make faces at the camera just like his mommy and daddy=) and don't tell anyone but....I think i'm his favorite Aunt Laura=) Joshua loved the baby and is getting even more excited for our little one to get here. Joshua watched Aly change Wills diaper and all of a sudden Joshua said "Wow he has a big pee pee"needless to say Spencer, Aly, Jamie and I started laughing. Mary was a little sad when we told her that Aly and spencer had already left but she cheered up a bit after looking at all the pictures we took of the baby and when we told her we would be able to see the baby in a little more than a week.

Busy, Busy, busy

Well i guess i haven't done a blog for two weeks..oops. anyway on the 8th of August mary had her summer dance showcase and she was AWESOME! she had a blast they were able to have the showcase in the cedar high auditorium so they danced on a stage=)

she was front and center which i think boosted her self esteem=) then on the 14 of August she started 1st grade=) =( she loves it so much and joshua loves the mommy joshua time but still having her gone all day just seems weird=) also on the 14th we got to meet with joshuas preschool teachers=) they were both very nice and they couldn't believe how smart joshua was when they tested him to see what he would need to work on once school starts(which is the 25 of August=( )and where he is learning wise. He needed to at least at the max score an 18, he scored a 21 =) so in other words he passed with flying colors. He is so excited to go to school also....that will be really weird. Mary also gets to ride the bus this year which she loves, i honestly thought it might be a little scary for her but she informs me that i am wrong and that it is soooooo much fun. On thursday also David felt the baby kick for the first time which made him very happy....me i have had a horrible cold all week long which our friend chansen gave me just by bumping into me=( it got bad enough that when i went in for my doctors appointment for the baby on thursday the doctor gave me antibiotics which have helped so very much because now i can actually talk and breath=) i guess not being able to breath and coughing up yucky green stuff isn't normal...anyway today(17 of Aug.) joshua was talking to my belly and when he laid his head on my belly and told the baby who he was she kicked him=) his head popped up and his eyes were huge and he was so excited that she kicked him=) anyway thats about all thats happened in the last little bit.
