Pioneer Day and Locks-of-Love

Well today Mary once again got to march in the parade and she had lots of fun and we figured since we were right by the haircutting place and mary had been asking me if she could get her hair cut we might as well get it done.....

she was so excited and i was the one who almost cried when they cut her hair off=( she loves it thought and that makes me happy that and i hope this helps her take care of her own hair. She was really funny ...we went to our friends house, cait and chance and cait said "Mary! you cut all your hair off." and mary replied while flipping her hair off her shoulder..."not all of it"=) it's just a cute little bob with a little flip to it and it totally fits her. oh how i'll miss her long hair...i mean it only took her 6 years to grow=) (4 if your counting when we were able to start seeing it lol's ) anyway have a great weekend everyone!!!!

Long Drive

Well this last week I worked on a quilt i'm making for aly and her baby and i seriously finished it 5 min. before we were supposed to leave for vegas on friday. David and I were given a van from my friends mom about 2 years ago and we have been trying to sell it well mom and dad decided to buy it so that way mom has a car to drive around when she flys in to visit here kids. So we all decided to drive the van down to vegas and see if it could make it down and back. It did so i do believe it passed the test =) it was a nice weekend mom and dads timeshare has an awesome pool and the kids couldn't get enough of it joshua especially loved the beach they had there. in one part of the pool they had sand to make it look and feel like a beach, and it was like 2 feet deep so both the kids could stand and play on their own. it was really nice. Anyway just one piece of advice for you pregnant ladies out there don't sleep on a hide-a-bed, very uncomfortable. On saturday mom and I walked up and down the entire outlet mall and we had a fun time while dad, david and the kids went to hoover damn the kids had a blast and i hope the guys did also but i forgot to ask them=( but anyway on sunday we went back to the outlet mall with everyone and we made it maybe half way before the guys were say "I'm tired" "are we almost done yet" =) I thought it was kind of funny. Anyway we drove home sunday evening and we were able to stop and visit with adam and rachel for a little bit which was nice and now i know i definetly want to go see the new batman movie. We left when it started to really pour outside, which was kind of scary because there was a lot of water on the road but i'm still happy we got a lot of rain because it was so dry over here for a little bit. anyway have a great week!

Anniversary

Today is Davids and my 7th anniversary!!!!! =) i can't believe it has been that long but then at the same time it's like has it only been 7 years =) We aren't doing much that i know of for our anniversary except we have my mother in law watching the kids while we go out to dinner=) thats always nice=) We visited with my Aunt Teresa and her husband Al while they were down here this weekend. It was a fun visit because i don't get to see her that often but she was exhausted so we kept it short. She came down to audit an SUU class and she got to go to some awesome plays while down here plus we had the renaissance festival and the july jamboree. The kids and david and i went to the renaissance festival on wednsday when it wasn't so crowded and we told the kids we had 10 dollars to spend so we had to be careful, well joshua fell in love with a sword and a shield that were 5 dollars but we told him we should keep looking around just in case we found a better deal and when we had looked at everything he told us he still only wanted the sword and shield=) and mary got a silk flower crown for 3 which is way cute and will last a lot longer then tinsley like ones and then they each got to go on one little ride. It was a lot of fun=)

4th of July

Well this last weekend was a busy one, sorry it has taken me so long and sorry the pictures are a little blurry it was hard to get a moving picture in focus =) Mary was able to dance in the fourth of July parade with her dance group and out of four or five dance groups they were the only ones dancing and they were awesome mary was trying to wave at us while dancing but she was really focused=)Joshua is quite the little photographer before the parade he was taking all sorts of pictures... I like to think he gets that from me =) after the parade we went up to Kolob with davids family and had a nice camp out all though we didn't camp we stayed up there until about 9 and then when we left we were able to see the St. George fireworks, or maybe it was the Hurricane fireworks? Mary was asleep about the time we started the car but josh was awake for approximatley one firework =) they had a lot of fun playing in the dirt and riding on the four wheelers. Joshua had all the noises down and everything, he's such a boy=) on saturday we cleaned the house and had a great time visiting with Aly and Spencer and Spencers mom, Jami. On Sunday We went to church and then Aly left to go home and we were off to Davids parents house where we took tons of family pictures before Andy and Jennilynn went back home to washington. Although it was raining/sprinkling outside it was hot inside the house and everyone about died trying to take pictures=) On monday I had a doctors appointment where the kids got to hear the babys heartbeat =) they were so cute they kept asking if it hurt and what they were doing=) but they were in awe after hearing the heartbeat=)

Fun weekend

So this weekend was a lot of fun it started off with me driving up north with rachel which was a lot of fun. Like she mentioned on her blog it was nice to have someone who actually talks back with you. I have to admit that i have a lot of pictures of paityn but i can't help it she was so incredibly cute. She was terrified of the dog (Simon) but when he was behind the glass door she was always there looking out at him saying "dog" Aly's baby shower was fun and very well attended I had a lot of fun putting puff paint on onsies I would say i liked mine the best but thats a lie I like rachels the best, shes more artistic then i am. mine is the red one hers is the green=)
